Start earning Global Points with our loyalty program right away once you start enrolling students. Then redeem them after your first program for the kind of travel and scholarship opportunities you won’t find with any other company: from professional development and networking events designed to connect you with fellow educators in unexpected destinations like Lisbon, Berlin, and the Dominican Republic, to scholarships and upgrades to enhance the study abroad experience for you and your students.
Global Points can be applied to domestic and international professional learning opportunities—developed specifically for college and university faculty—to give faculty leaders skills and knowledge they can bring back to campus.
You want study abroad to be accessible to as many students as possible. So do we. That's why faculty can enter to win a $20,000 scholarship to fund a short-term study abroad program. Over 30 educators have already won. But even if you don't, when you lead a program with us—to Rome, Costa Rica, Tokyo and everywhere in between—you get the chance to see the incredible long-term impact of travel on your students.
Merit-based student scholarship opportunities, the ability to apply financial aid, and fundraising resources provide students with the resources and support they need for a successful study abroad experience—not to mention that all of our programs deliver on critical global competencies that create competitive job candidates.
A community of lifelong learners and curious explorers
EF offers a wide range of opportunities to connect with other globally minded faculty and grow as an educator. First-time faculty leaders can participate in our Orientation and Development Seminars in Paris or Barcelona. Experienced faculty leaders have the opportunity to join other educators on our Professional Development and Networking Experiences, developed specifically for EF College Study faculty, in locations like Berlin, Lisbon, and beyond.
By leading an EF group abroad, you’ll engage in enriching professional development and growth for you; as an educator, as a professional, and as an individual you’ll develop a whole host of competencies to add to your professional dossier. These experiences are designed to deepen your global perspective and give you skills to bring back to your campus through expert-led workshops and immersion in local culture.
An educational and intentional approach to program design
Leading students on an EF College Study program is more than just an incredible travel experience. When learners participate in our intentionally designed programs that leverage our Global Learning Model, they develop global competencies before, during, and after their in-country immersion—deepening learning and accelerating personal development.
Our approach to program design, developed in consultation with leading industry experts using best practices, is grounded in learning outcomes and includes academic resources, curated experiences, and assessments to maximize student competency development.
Traveling with EF means you’re backed by the vast reach of our global family paired with the personal attention of your Program Consultant, who’s equal parts travel guru, academic consultant, expert planner, and cheerleader.
Additionally, you’ll have an experienced local Tour Director with your group from the moment you clear customs to the time you set off for home again, which means you can focus on creating valuable learning moments for your students. With a team of more than 52,000 EF personnel around the globe, we have a presence in nearly every program destination. Suffice it to say, you have EF’s (passionate! smiling! pink-shirted!) support every step of the way.
