  2. Travel makes the world grow smaller

This was an excellent opportunity for my son to further his knowledge of other cultures. At 21 he had already seen most of our country and traveled to several other countries. This tour provided a balanced mix of culture: with visits to Temples and Shrines, business: the stock exchange was busy with an air of excitement, the Toyota Factory where his car was made, and time to enjoy the sights and scenes of Japan. He came home with a broader understanding of other people and cultures and several paintings and a Saki set. An overall wonderful learning experience.
