  1. Epic FAIL !!!

This tour was an epic-fail. It was poorly coordinated. I am a disabled veteran and my limbs do not function as they use to. I was in constant pain and my medication did very little because of the constant aggravation. The tour was set up so that the tour guide led us on long "walking" tours almost every single day (covering miles) with short rides on the subway and more walking.
The guide claimed that the historical sites could only be reached by foot but the bus driver could have dropped us off closer to a bus or subway station. There were several bus stops that were closer to most of the historical sites once we reached them and we could have avoided walking up hills and outdoor stairs to get to and from the sites. It made it worse for many after reaching the site and there was more walking around, up and down many steps just to see the sites. We are educators majoring in leadership and or curriculum at a Christian university, there was no need to waste time and energy visiting so many churches. I expected to be educated not drained !!!

Thank you for your review of your experience. I am sorry to hear that you felt the program was draining due to the amount of walking. We always strive to provide the best method of transportation to and from each location for our travelers, within the policies that certain locations have for how close to the site buses can travel. We would love to hear more about your experience so that we can continue to improve our programs. Please don't hesitate to give us a call at (877) 485-4184 or to email me at Erin@ef.edu.

  2. Reformation

Tour did not live up to my previous positive EF experiences.
Bus transportation was awful - one day without a bus and then squeezed in - to small bus).
    Not enough guided city tours.
Last day was to stressful with to much driving and not enough sight seeing.
Hotels were very good, but to far located from the towns and cities we visited.
Flights were with excellent airline carriers, but to many layovers.
