2021 program highlights

Powered by EF and the Forum on Education Abroad in partnership with the Nobel Prize Museum, the Future Nobel Laureates Scholarship Program is grounded by the belief that in order to change the world, you need to experience it. Explore highlights from our 2021 program.

  • 2021 course overview

    11 students were selected and fully funded to participate, which included readings, faculty office hours, guest speakers, assignments, discussion groups, a group project, and a virtual Nobel Prize Museum immersion in place of a field study in Sweden due to COVID-19. 2021 winners can choose to join the Sweden field study this December.

  • 2021 Nobel Week Dialogue theme

    The 2021 Nobel Week Dialogue was centered on the topic of the "City of the Future." This event explored the nature of the city and interconnected challenges like mobility, health, housing, employment, and more. Speakers included the Nobel Prize laureates Frances Arnold, Serge Haroche, Paul Romer, and Brian Schmidt.

  • Completed student projects

    The students who participated in our 2021 Future Nobel Laureates Scholarship Program completed the following projects: Raising Awareness on Universal Basic Income to Address Global Poverty, International Human Rights: Expanding Protections for Muslims in India, and Access to Education and Technology.
