Southern Dominican Republic – Estimated 30 Service Hours
Meaningful. Sustainable. Unforgettable. Journey into the southern region of the Dominican Republic where steep hillsides, tobacco plantations and cow-spotted pastures stretch as far as the eye can see. You’ll travel deep into the mountain communities where rural poverty poses challenges to economic development, healthcare and access to education. Working together with community members, you’ll build sustainable solutions to these problems, as you connect with locals and become immersed in the culture.
